We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrator with a passion for theatre and the arts, to join our team at the Riverfront as Productions Executive.


Hours, Pay and Benefits

Hours:

  • Full time (37 hours per week)
  • Predominantly working Monday-Friday, but with some weekend work required 

Pay:

  • Starting at £25,596 per annum
  • Rising to £26,206 per annum after successful completion of six-month probationary period

Key Experiences and Qualifications

Essential for your application:

  • Excellent administrative or co-ordinator experience
  • Confident IT user; quick to pick up new skills for various system use
  • Unfazed when working in a busy environment
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Practical understanding of financial processes / procedures

Beneficial to your application: 

  • Ability to communicate in Welsh (or any other languages in addition to English)
  • Previously worked in an arts or cultural environment
  • Similar experience in programming events
  • Understanding the workings of a charitable trust / not-for-profit organisation

Role Requirements

Reporting into the Head of Theatre, Arts and Culture, you will need to be a highly organised multi-tasker who can effectively prioritise workloads and is comfortable working with minimal supervision.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Being a principal contact for all aspects of programming, including negotiating terms, and providing relevant contracts and documentation
  • Supporting our Customer Services team with managing external hirers for the venue
  • Ensuring smooth planning and delivery of events, through effective colleague collaborations
  • Collate and process data and reports
  • Support with setting and reviewing sales and targets; ensuring all associated reports and documents are updated for required deadlines
